I’m curious if it’s normal to see fluctuations from 1000 ppm to 3300 ppm across a minute or two sampling.
I’ve got the sensor in an open area of my house, so there are people moving around generating both breezes and local CO2 concentrations. The fluctuations seem wild … a 100% swing in a couple of minutes. But then again I don’t have any prior experience with air quality sensors so that could be totally normal?

This sounds like a scenario where the AIR-1 is upside down and causing the SCD40 Co2 sensor to vibrate in a “Sawtooth pattern”.
Can you confirm the AIR-1 is currently set on a desk with the APOLLO name facing upwards? If so, Can you set it with the APOLLO facing down and see if that gets it to give normal readings?
Regarding calibration, new air-1 being shipped will have auto co2 calibration enabled by default. This can be disabled with a toggle on the device page and then you can manually calibrate it following our guide here: CO2 Calibration Tutorial - Apollo Docs
